Most of my stuff is in this storage unit, but there was some extra room, so I helped my dad move some of his project radios in. He repairs and refinishes these old tube radios. He even recreates missing knobs. He’s got shelves and racks full of these things in the basement.
Nope. Nope. Close and nope. It’s a Pilot Television from 1948. It sports a whopping three inch B&W screen. Note the magnifier attachment in the first picture. Sawdustanddaisies was pretty close with her Crosley Radio guess. My dad has several of those in various stages of restoration or part-scavengatude, but this ain’t that.
Also, I apologize for the digital verbal abuse in my previous post. You probably didn’t deserve that.
I saw this on my way home yesterday, in case anyone wants to know what to get me for Christmas.
I believe that tank behind the cab is the gas tank. I’m sure it’s safe.
